Add or remove access to your YouTube channel

If y'all have a Brand Account, y'all tin can now use aqueduct permissions to add together or remove access to your YouTube aqueduct instead. Annotation that Brand Accounts using channel permissions, including owners, temporarily can't use Live Command Room. Larn more.

You can have multiple people manage your channel without giving them access to your Google Account. Inviting someone to manage your channel:

  • Is safer than sharing your password.
  • Lets yous give but the amount of admission they need.
  • Is less confusing by making the user annotate or view videos on YouTube with their ain channel.

Limitations

Right now, people yous've invited to manage your channel:

  • Can only manage your channel in YouTube Studio on estimator or partially on mobile.
  • Can't manage via YouTube.com or YouTube APIs.
  • Can't practise certain actions in YouTube Studio (Come across the table beneath).

  • Owners can notwithstanding make people moderators where they can answer and moderate within YouTube.com and the YouTube app.

Channel Permissions in YouTube Studio: Invite People to Assist Manage Your Channel

To add together admission:

  1. Become to studio.youtube.com.
  2. On the left-hand side, click Settings.
  3. Click Permissions.
  4. Click Invite and enter the email address of the person you'd similar to invite.

  6. Click Save.

To remove or change access:

  1. Go to studio.youtube.com.
  2. On the left-hand side, click Settings.
  3. Click Permissions.
  4. Get to the person you'd like to remove and click the Downwards arrow.
  5. Select a new role or click Remove admission.

Notation: Channel permissions don't support some parts of Studio merely yet. Even though the owner can access these features, invited users can't admission:

  • Features that aren't built into Studio, similar Community postal service cosmos.
  • YouTube.com, YouTube Music, YouTube Kids app, or YouTube APIs.

To find the channel possessor's proper name and electronic mail:
